Scott graduated with Honors from University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2004, earning a B.S. in Biopsychology and a minor in Piano Performance. He served as Co-President of the Health Pre-Professional Society during his junior and senior years, and was an Emerging Leader of the Year nominee.

Scott passed the NBHWC (National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching) certification exam, the "gold-standard" for health coaches created in collaboration with the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME). He enjoys reading, exercising, composing piano music, and spending time with his family.
